Commuting Zen

No need to get upset when that so-called "gentleman" doesn't offer a lady like you his seat. Simply stare at him on the train for the rest of his commute like this:

This is a tricky subject. There have been a number of times where I have offered my seat to only be met with, "No. That's okay." And then two minutes later, some other dude offers up his seat to the same woman and she accepts graciously. Which leaves me looking like a dink.

What the frig is that?

that's just rude, Matt. But at least you offered. was that same guy aware that you offered?

I'm not sure. But either way, those guys definitely stole my shine.

Matt, were you looking like you'd just peed in your pants when you asked? Because that might make the ladies a little shy about taking your seat.

Matt, I feel your pain. I use to give up my seat all the time, but after a few, "Uh, no" accompanied with a "What, are you going to ask for my number next?" look, I've decided every person for themselves, except elderly and preggers. Fuck those bitches - I was just trying to give some common courtsey.
