Conversations with my Parents When I Listened to The Cure

Anne's Parents: "How was school today, Anne?"

Anne: "God! You're so gay! It was fine! Shut up! What the hell do you care? Why won't you leave me alone? God! I hate you! I'm going to my room!"

I still have my Cure audio cassettes. Needless to say, they are pathetically worse for wear. My Madonna cassettes got a beating that year too. Man, I've always been a fascinating, uncrackable enigma, haven't I? I'm unbelievable. Watch and learn, kids.
