Wooden Resorts of Yesteryear Which Burned to the Ground

Here's a fine place which was situated at the foot of the street on which I grew up:


"Within a short walk from the hotel are two excellent Golf courses--the Clifton course and the Tedesco Country Club--on both of which guests of the hotel are admitted at reasonable fees..."

The rest of that sentence --in fine print so fine it's invisible--:

"...unless of course you are female, black, or Jewish, and in that case, you may feel free to take a serious friggin' hike."
