Van Halen @ Madison Square Garden on St. Patrick's Day

1982 wasn't that great. Just like any other year, it had it's problems--my bucked teeth, for one-- so I don't really understand my desperation to re-live it through music like this. Yet all I want to do while washing dishes is do just that. David Lee Roth's perfect pitched scream on this song is perfect David Lee. Oh, and somebody get me a ticket to this show tomorrow night, will ya? You know I deserve it.

I drove to Philly to see them because I had a feeling the tour wouldn't last long. It was awesome. Except they didn't play any Van Hagar stuff...
