Aren't Hot Dogs Just Tube-Shaped Bologna?

I'm pretty sure they are. Debate here in the office. Bologna and hot dogs are made from the same meat-style products, they're just morphed into different shapes.

And hardly anyone puts chili, cheese, onions and kraut on a bologna sandwich. Why not?
