I just got slammed on another blog for sticking up for the writer who was making some good clean fun of Mel.
Everybody was all like, "alcoholism is a disease, man," and I was all like, "well, alcohol may loosen the tongue, but it doesn't put thoughts in your head," and they were all like, "but he's got a crazy daddy," and I gave up and came over here.
Mel Gibson deserves a better press. He is a clean-living Roman Catholic boy who made the mistake of wanting to have his catechism and eat it. He is a notable jewel in the Vatican's crown and is one of God's principle gifts to the planet. Is it any surprise that women should find his spiritual magnetism irresistible?
people are defending his ass? jesus. there are some crazies in this country. alcohol doesn't make someone hate jews and woman. the catholic church does that.

Isn't he already over 50? That's when he should be able to take responsibility for his own opinions.
