Some Irish Proverbs I Like

These are SO Irish.

  • A change of work is as good as a rest
  • Drink is the curse of the land. It makes you fight with your neighbor. It makes you shoot at your landlord and it makes you miss him.
  • Hunger is the best sauce.
  • One may live without one's friends, but not without ones' pipe.
  • Both your friend and your enemy think you will never die.
