My pals at Houseplant Picture Studio have impressed me yet again with some funky images from the past. Kurt's got a series of scanned album covers up now which are rich with vintage-y goodness (polyester and hairspray) and a heck of a lot of fun to peruse.
This cover is a goody; it made me think of the time my dear, late, and Polish Uncle Stumpy did the polka for the daddy/daughter dance at my cousin's wedding. It also made me think: I don't remember the last time I was as happy as the couple on the cover. Perhaps when I was 3 or 4? Maybe never? Photos from my youth reveal a pretty pissed off tyke. Is it possible to get this happy (frolicking in mid-air powered by glee) naturally? If so, please advise. (Note that I will receive your suggestions with an enormous heaping of skepticism and relentless doubt.)

thanks Anne...I need all the pals I can get
I've had some of these records for years and finally decided to get serious and post them...and besides, the internet can always use more vintage album cover scans.
glad you like 'em
By the way - we'll be posting 30-40 mp3 tracks from the actual albums in the next day or two...(including a steel drum version of "Stars and Stripes Forever" thrown in for the heck of it)
cheers from hot 'n' muggy CA
