Whereas when you step on someone else's shoe, they are walking too slow! At least that was always my Mom's theory...
i step on others' shoes to send an indirect message of 'you cut me off in line for the subway, and now you'll pay for your rudeness with my ineffective passive aggresive manner but at least i got you irritated.'
