Nice Recovery, Faith, But It Doesn't Fly

Faith and her publicist are responding to her embarrassing "WTF" last night on the CMAs. They say that she would never insult another performer, blah blah blah or whatever, and that is her defense.

Faith, nobody is saying that you were insulting Carrie when you waved your hands in the air like you just didn't care. The point is, you thought you had the award in the bag, you thought you were so great, and you didn't win, and it was hilarious. That's the point.

I rag on you publicly because that's what I do. I also rag on you publicly because I found out this afternoon that you are a liberal voter. That's cool. But your behavior last night was asinine. And hilarious. Albeit not for you or the people close to you. And I want to be like that other party who says stupid shit when their party people do stupid shit (aka Ken Foley, Ted Haggard, George W. Bush):

This is not a reflection on the Democratic Party, and this will not affect my vote.

Faith, you're lucky this didn't affect my vote. You are an embarrassment to my party.

And I will cry if I want to.

Heh heh heh, anyone want to see that clip of Faith totally thinking she won the award again until she didn't? It's worth it...
