I Love You, But Primary Colors Are Red, Yellow & Blue

NASA's got a lot of interesting things on their website. For example, this color wheel above.
They also have activities:

  1. Make a space shuttle out of a hot dog
  2. Play the space shuttle in a game of tic-tac-toe
  3. Color the space shuttle
  4. After your space shuttle landing, learn how to make your own diaper so you may drive from Houston to Orlando without stopping to kill a romantic rival.

Fun!

The primary colors are either Magenta, Yellow and Cyan (the subtractive, or pigment, primaries, aka CMYK [K is solid black]) or Red, Green and Blue (the additive primaries, aka RGB, as used in computer monitors). Mixing red and Blue pigments yields brown, not purple. I know. As I child, I was betrayed by the book "Ant and Bee and the Rainbow," which spread the same red-yellow-blue lies. Lies! And now our government, through NASA, is lying to us too!

Glad you're here Nina. Does this mean the Moon landings aren't really in Black & White?
