Houseplant Picture Studio Does It Again

That Kurt Benbenek! Always finding interesting stuff to share. Here's a series of photos from an album I'm absolutely in love with. It appears to be of an engagement party/rehearsal dinner and a wedding, and clearly it was a good damn time.

Don't Polka Fun at Happiness

My pals at Houseplant Picture Studio have impressed me yet again with some funky images from the past. Kurt's got a series of scanned album covers up now which are rich with vintage-y goodness (polyester and hairspray) and a heck of a lot of fun to peruse.

This cover is a goody; it made me think of the time my dear, late, and Polish Uncle Stumpy did the polka for the daddy/daughter dance at my cousin's wedding. It also made me think: I don't remember the last time I was as happy as the couple on the cover. Perhaps when I was 3 or 4? Maybe never? Photos from my youth reveal a pretty pissed off tyke. Is it possible to get this happy (frolicking in mid-air powered by glee) naturally? If so, please advise. (Note that I will receive your suggestions with an enormous heaping of skepticism and relentless doubt.)
