Some People Have Crappy Halloween Costumes and Some Don't
Here's an example of a tremendous Halloween costume this year. No doubt you all recognize DeeAnne Gorman here as Olive Oyl, don't you? Dragging her dead boyfriend Popeye behind her, trailed by the bag of poo-tainted spinach which killed him? Fantastic. Originally they were going to try and pull off a Sound of Music Fraulein Maria with Do, Ray, Me, Fa, So, La, Te n' Do entourage, but logistically it didn't materialize, and I think they were better off for it. This costume was pulled right from the headlines like that Law n' Order you like so much.
Anyway, I watched the 33rd Annual NYC Hallweeen Parade on t.v. and saw far too many bullshit costumes like "I'm a devil!" and "I'm Little Bo Peep!" and "I'm a Playboy bunny..." If that's all the effort you're going to put into it, twats, then stay home, ok, great, thanks, bye.

Oh, goodness. People have some balls saying shit to perfect strangers. Dee (Olive Oyl) just told me that some broad shouted at her "Hey, Olive, what happened?" And she replied, "Popeyes dead b/c he ate bad spinach" and that broad said, "Naw, I mean, what happened to you? Olive Oyl, you done gained some weight girl!"
It's bad enough we've got to live up to the unrealistic ideals pictured on magazine covers, and now we're ripped a new one for looking like a 6'3" 98 lb cartoon? Rough.
what is wrong with people. It's a great costume. People are mean.
Fuckers!
I agree-great costume and really timely. Too bad she had to put up with some scumbag heckler (who probably just had a sheet over her had-great imagination). Shoulda had Bluto kick her ass.
