Stalking: It May Be Fun, But It's Not Cool

Dear All Stalker Dudes Who Don't Think You Are Stalkers,

Newsflash: You are.

Here's a story about a guy who showed up at his girlfriend's job, pulled her into an elevator and set off a bomb. Nice.

On that note, I'd now like to share with you another stalker story that happened to my friend Kat a few weeks ago. She went on a Match.com date for drinks with a dude and she realized that she wasn't that into him. She declined his offer when he tried to close the deal for a second date. Here is the barrage of texts from him which ensued:

I'm done, hopefully u learned something. I have dated models, actresses, etc. & what's comical is I got blown off by a women on match! Comical.

No more from me.

Curious, once u looked at yoru cell phone during drinks - is that why u said it was time to go, other plans that night? I am curious- why so slient. Be honest...

(Kat reminded him that it was he who had sent her that text to her cellphone during drinks, when they had been discussing their phones)

That doesn't cut your behavior-all I wanted from the beginning was an explanation on what happened. Did u not have a good time? Not your type, just explain.

I seriously won't contact you-I just want you to handle the situation properly. Be upfront w me, that's all, tell me why u didn't get back after all signals were that you were interested. Answer that honestly and I will never contact you again. Btw, I was shocked by it.

You say u are straightforward, prove it. Answer my questions, it's the least u can do. You should feel bad about blowing a guy off, thus my messages. Next time u...

...Will hopefully do it with class. I am not interested, I just want u to handle this w class. U frustrated me w no response, so just answer the questions and then...

~

"and then..." Indeed.

And folks, don't bother with the restraining oder thing-it's worthless. No lesser authority than the Supreme Court ruled in a case right in the village of Castle Rock, CO that police were under no obligation to investigate the "alleged" violation of a restraining order that an ex-husband stay away from his three daughters. Good old Dad picked them up and killed all three before whacking himself. Far better to cultivate some Mob friends and let them help you out should the situation arise.

So... you're pretty much saying "Go ahead, get a restraining order, I'll still kill you."
