Jets v Bills in Three

Me and Mikey No Eyes, freezing our cans off. Photo taken by the Bills fan in the next frame.

The Jet Fan Who Would Be Tossed. Spent 3 quarters not watching the game, but instead, hassling the Bills fan to my right. Thankfully, I was incognito to enjoy the harassment.

The Bills Fan, not giving the peace sign, but reacting to the "TWO AND TWELVE!!!" rant by the Jet Fan Who Would Be Tossed. We may be 2 and 4, but now you lost to us and you're 3 and 3. Burn.
Let's Go, Buffalo.

Finally Wide Right's on the Other Foot

The Bills beat the Jets in OT, yo! And I was there.

Note to teams playing the Bills: Watch the picks; the Bills might win if they get five interceptions.

Might.

Bills v Jets on Sunday: Time for a Re-Post!

My friend Mike generously offered to take me to the Bills v Jets game at the Meadowlands on Sunday. Since Mike's a Jet fan, we most likely will not be wandering over to the Bills' Tailgate, so here's a re-post on that glorious day of sunshine and a big Buffalo win. Sunday's forecast is rain, rain, rain, and the Bills, well, we all know the Bills aren't doing so well. But that which doesn't kill us makes us... not dead, so let's go, Buffalo!

The Bills Make Me Want to Shout

with frustration:

I either need to watch the Bills while jumping around on this thing or deck this kid. Or both.

Freakin' Bills!

Sigh.

Because they the Buffalo Bills their season opener to the Patriots--in a game where they had a healthy, wealthy lead--by acting stupid, I think it's only right if we turn this tragedy into something positive by clicking here.

Football stresses me out, man. It's too much. Too much! Too much for players, too much for spectators. It's only healthy for those who don't watch it.

Come on, Bills! Get. It. Together.

Stuff That Was Good in 1964: The Buffalo Bills

They might not be so good today, but they're technically the only NY football team (Jets, Giants play in Jerz, yo) so let's give 'em a little respect, huh? Viva Western New York!

Highlight film of the 1964 AFL Champions Buffalo Bills. Part 1 of 4 via youTube.

WWTOD?

God blessed him to play football. Does it matter*?

*Kinda: I'm no football analyst, but in my opinion, the Bills + TO = TO + the same crappy QB.

All I'm Sayin' Is: Plane Crashes and Beheadin' Husbands Give Buffalo a Bad Name

The term crazy is tossed about so much that what is indeed technically, text book, clinically, court-of-law "crazy" and what the shades of grey are can be debated until the cows come home.

But the person who cuts another person's head off?

Someone like Mr. Mo Hassan, for example, from Orchard Park, New York? Who got a little pissy doodles at his wife for filing for divorce so he cut her head off?

Well, that head-cutting off person (usually a dude: testosterone! now with 100% more rage!) is absolutely, undoubtedly, resolutely, completely, positively, honestly, totally, seriously, irreversibly, bat-shit, out of their minds, mother fuckin', cryin' out loud, goddamned, doggone, crazy.

As is the American tourist who visits the M&M store or the Olive Garden in Times Square for a reason other than needing to take an urgent, messy dump.

Crazy people? They walk among us.

We just never know when they're going to cut our heads off.

Deformed? We've Got an Appliance For You

"Main Street, Buffalo, N.Y., circa 1900." The merchants of Buffalo, aside from making that fine city a haven for the herniated, also offered a wide range of "deformity appliances."

Cleveland v Buffalo 29-27: Wide Right?!?!?!?!!?

Wide right then. Wide right NOW

Oh, bloody hell.

Browns 4 and 6
Bills 5 and 5

Bills v Browns Tonight: Primetime!

I did a Google search for Buffalo Bills Tail Gate Kit and this is what I found: a soup to nuts (or wings to beer) Buffalo Bills Bed-in-a-Bag. On a website called babybeddingtown.com, no less. What this says about us Bills fans is that we obviously like to get our Baby Bills fans ready right away for tail gating--whether it takes place in a traditional parking lot or in baby steps in the bedroom. How else are we going to prepare our infants for Polish Cherry Schnapps shots chugged from a bowling ball? Let's go, Buffalo!

Paris Hilton's My New BFF Update: Lauren is On Her Period Right Now

Which is why getting the note at the spa about the fake gossip rumor was a really bad time to get a note at a spa about a fake gossip rumor to see if she, Lauren, could be her new BFF to Paris because she does consider herself to be a good friend. It's just the period thing. I can't explain Kiki's problem. I think she's probably just a bitch. But I wouldn't know. I don't watch this show.

Buffalo Bills are 5 -1!

And tonight, the Sox play their last game against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (that's right, I said Devil, I ain't scared) competing to meet the Phillies in the World Series. I haven't been to Fenway since '07, and better have a reason to go in 08. Let's hope the worst part about tonight's game will be Matt Garza's spitting problem. Absolutely revolting.

In other news, If I can get to Home Depot before it closes this evening, I might buy a geranium.

As you were.

GO SOX!

The Buffalo Bills are 4-0. Are You?

Labor Day Weekend, 2008
Somewhere in Astoria, NY
I went to a Labor Day Garden party a few weeks ago and 1/2 of the delightful hosts hails from Niagara Falls. Just look at this beautiful mobile they hang in their front hall! You just can't get one of these, folks. You simply just can't get one. My friends were lucky enough to snap this canvas mesh number up at a yard sale. Feeling sad you can't have one? How about your own Buffalo Bills canvas mesh tissue dispenser? Bid soon (auction ends Oct 2) or buy it now for $27.95. Worth it? Obvs!
