For those of us who work in lower Manhattan, we've got the September 11 channel on 7 days a week with reminders real ( a big hole in the ground) and disgusting ("Hey, get your 9/11 t-shirts here!") everywhere you look. It's sobering. I took these from the "safety" and "comfort" of my highrise office building a few minutes ago. If you look closely at the last two (click to enlarge) you'll see Doodle parachuting one of the American flags. Hers is the one on fire. Showoff.
