The Red Sox WILL make the playoffs, and the Yankees just barely made the toilet. Life is good. Sure, the stock market's in the basement and about to travel on through the bottom of the Earth to China, we're on the edge of the Apocalypse, and I'm eating canned goods with a fork right out of the can like a hobo, but still. Life is good.

There is a bar on the UES that I used to go to, Brother Jimmy's Bait Shack on 3rd Ave around 92nd Street. We would wander in all week long and have a good time. Then on Sundays it turned into a crazy Buffalo Bills bar. Fans from all over would hang out there. The bar is still there, but I don't know if they still cater to the Buffalo crowd.
The Packers are 2-0! Yay!
The Patriots are 2-0 as well....without Tom Brady even!
