Past, Present, Future: Difficult to Understand?

"Considering your past history, don't you think you're at risk for making the same mistakes?"

Past history?

It's either history or past.

Not PAST HISTORY.

Why? Because it's a given that history is in the past, jackass.

Is there any other kind of history? Present history? Future history? Perhaps a refresher course in Dickens' A Christmas Carol is in order?

Get your shit together, you overpaid dumbass newscasters, you're contributing to my insanity.

*Ditto for the ubiquitous "At this point in time." Pick one. Point or time. Jesus.

Anne, what would we do without you? Thanks for pointing out our stupidness.

You know, I never thought about this quote. You've enlightened me.

glad to help, teri; it's what i'm all about: pointing out people's stupidness.

it's one of my most endearing qualities.

And thanks again for pointing out that I had my shoes on the wrong feet.

just for the record, the word is technically "stupidity" but i can't expect people to know that so...

do you hold classes on grammar, etc.? cause I will be the first one to sign up. who could ask for a better teacher.

this is what happens where there are 50 million languages in our country along with all the slang words. You tend to forget how to talk.

i'll teach a grammar class if you'll teach a math class. numbers scare me.

Someone using the sort of redundant phrase 'past history' is the reason why my 'past history' is filled with various assault and battery charges.
