Quick Spring Fashion Tips From Someone Who Knows But Ignores Own Advice

If you want to be fashionable in 2007, here's what you've got to do.

  1. Those preppy polo shirts you bought last spring? Out. In? Flowy crap.
  2. Those low rise 7 jeans? Outtie. Innie? High-waisters, a la 1982.
  3. Those rounded, soft-edged bags? Out. In? Square, structured.
  4. I'm already tired teaching, so listen up: All the stuff you bought last year is bad.

Happy consuming, consumer!

High-waisted jeans are back? Hallelujah! I am so sick of seeing pierced navels, peek-over thong underwear and pubic hair stubble.

That's why I shop at the GAP. Josh if you will: but knit shirts and kakhis never go out of style.

Except for that one time in the 80s....

Never!
