Any Milton Berle specimens?
In DC there is a little known "medical oddities" museum at Walter Reed hospital. It has about 100 jars filled with pickled fetuses, the world's largest hairball removed from someone's stomach and crap like that. My grandparents took us there when I was a kid and it gave me nightmares for years.
Philly is a fun town. Enjoy!
In Oxford there is an anthropological museum with shrunken heads, voodoo dolls, and other ceremonial "witchcraft" objects. It's amazing!
Have fun in Philly, Anne!
