I love the NBC game show
Deal or No Deal. Howie Mandel is way less annoying than he was in the 80's (perhaps it's being rid of the bad 'fro alone), and there are hot broads --for those who are into that sort of thing--to ease the pain of his blindingly shiny dome piece. The show is very simple. It's just like Lotto with more safety nets. And I love it for one of the same basic reasons I love PBS
Antiques Roadshow: you want the unassuming and kind to win and the jerk off know-it-alls to lose. Who can stand a know-it-all?

I like Deal or No Deal, also. I have found that it is almost always the kiss of death when one of the greedy relatives/friends says. " C'mon, just one more case".
The British version of Antiques Roadshow is funny to me. " Well, I believe this Edwardian cudgel is would sell for 11 million pounds at auction." "Oh, well, that's lovely, isn't it?" An American would be racing around the studio screaming.
Have you seen Show Me The Money? It's so bad, it's good. Shatner rules!!!
I love Antiques Roadshow. Most especially, I love the faces of the jackasses when they frist realize that their prized family heirloom is worth $1.50.
Howie takes himself a little too seriously. It's a little unnerving.
