John Denver

John Denver thanked God he was a country boy and that somebody filled up his senses. He wanted country roads to take him home, back to the place where he belonged. His bags were packed and he was ready to go. Rocky mountain high, Colorado.

The he died in homemade paper airplane.

The End.

Life is mean.

He was on The Muppets too. I wonder as he was conversing with Fozzy Bear if it ever crossed his mind he was going to end up fish food.

hey, at least he tried, I perfer to remember him as a creative man who died doing what he loved.

ok, fine. but who decided that topless was the way to go for the cover?

He wanted to show off his masculine infant body.

I think if he only removed his enormous goggles, oh sorry glasses, he'd make for a more handsome little boy. He does seem to have the body (at least torso) of a young boy, pre-puberty.

I like the use of the word "definitive". Like there's been some discussion and debate.

Funny site. I'm linking to you (in the for-what-it's-worth dept.)

Anne - are you kidding me? I'm the pecs of death, the mussles from Brussels. That's right, I am Jean Claude Feung Shei.

I didn't know Denver was in Nam. I thought they didn't draft people with glasses.

I loved the Rocky Mountain High album. Oddly enough the thing I remember the most about it was that because of the inside cover my mother had to explain to a 9 yr old that "Kiss a beaver" didn't mean plant a big ol' wet one on the next buck-toothed, brown furred, flat-tailed dam builer you come across. Or maybe it did.

They don't give passes to people with glasses. Only spoiled rich kids whose Daddy helped some very bad people get guns and ended up president.

Or builder, even.
