there's nothing i like more than remembering old hootie songs. we did--some of us did--used to genuinely like that song. that band. can you imagine??? jesus, they are wretched.
just when you think it doesnt get worse than "let her cry", you remember "hold my hand", and then you remember that seal "sealed" the deal of worst song ever produced with "a kiss from a rose".
what does that say about me that i liked that "kiss from a rose" song? i just didn't like hearing it.
James Blunt's voice has a similar effect on me. I cry beccause I'm terrified of one day being stuck in an elevator for hours on end with his music on repeat.
Jack Black does a stirring rendition of "kiss from a rose". It's way stirring.
