now that we are back to boys names...i have a girls name question...what do people think of the name Fern for a girl? i was at a wedding this weekend and i met a dude named Fernie. Fernie is short for Fernando, but no one ever calls him that. he said people call him fernalicious and fernice....well, i thought that maybe i like the name Fern, but for a gir. thoughts?
but in the spirit of pop culture, avril levigne just married a guy who spells his name "deryck". yikes. course, her name is avril which isn't even a name so...
I have a female cousin named Fern. Interestingly enough, the 2 female cousins on the other side of the family are Ivy and Lily. Sounds like I grew up in a family of horticulturists.
