Name That Tune?

Ok, people, I've got a riddle for you. It's not a riddle in the classic sense because I have no patience for those. This is a riddle along the lines of "help me figure out what the name of this friggin' song is and who sings it before I waste tons of billable hours racking my brain (and google) and/or hang myself in the ladies room with a tampon string). Now I'm usually excellent at this kind of stuff. I've already conquered "All I Need" by Jack Wagner this morning, but this one is a lot tougher because I don't know many of the lyrics. Or any. So, you know, it's a toughie.
Winner will receive one Steve Miller Band Hits 1974-1978 cassette.

Here goes.

?Song?
[Begins with saxophone. I'll do my best, so bear with me:]
Dooo doooo dooo doo doo doo...
Dooo doooo dooo doo doo doo dooo...
Dooo doooo dooo dooo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo...doo doo...
Lyrics:
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
in this tired little town, take a look around, and we'll talk about everything...
blah blah blah blah she's got that look on her face
blah blah blah blah quiet little place
take a look around, blah blah blah blah, and we'll talk about everything....
Just one more year and then we'll be happy..
Just blah blah blah and then we'll be happy...
You're cryin', you're cryin' now...
[back to saxophone]
Doo doo doo doo doo dooooo
Doo doo doo doo doo doooooo
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo..
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo..doo doo..
etc.

Artist: Gerry Rafferty Lyrics
Song: Baker Street Lyrics
Windin' your way down on Baker Street
Light in your head and dead on your feet
Well another crazy day
You'll drink the night away
And forget about everything
This city desert makes you feel so cold.
It's got so many people but it's got no soul
And it's taking you so long
To find out you were wrong
When you thought it had everything

You used to think that it was so easy
You used to say that it was so easy
But you're tryin'
You're tryin' now
Another year and then you'll be happy
Just one more year and then you'll be happy
But you're cryin'
You're cryin' now

Way down the street there's a lad in his place
He opens the door he's got that look on his face
And he asks you where you've been
You tell him who you've seen
And you talk about anything

He's got this dream about buyin' some land
He's gonna give up the booze and the one night stands
And then he'll settle down there's a quiet little town
And forget about everything

But you know he'll always keep movin'
You know he's never gonna stop movin
Cus he's rollin'
He's the rollin' stone

And when you wake up it's a new mornin'
The sun is shinin' it's a new morning
You're goin'
You're goin' home.

Actually your lyrics were great.
I got it from this:

But you're cryin'
You're cryin' now

I know who Gerry is. I'm old. So weird that I thought of that Careless Whisper when I saw the doo doo too too.
