Many of you may be familiar with the show "When Sharks Attack". But what about "When the Homeless Insult"?
My friend was leaving my apartment last night when a homeless fellow asked her for some change. She turned him down with a polite "Sorry..." when he replied,
"That's ok, honey, you still look good for your age."
SNAP-a-DOODLE DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ohhhhhhhh noooooooooooo.
Moral of this story: Give every homeless guy change or he'll make you feel like shit about yourself the entire subway ride to Astoria and possibly beyond.

The bum obviously knows what he is doing. He'll be outside her building again, and next time he sees her, he'll ask her for change, and she'll give it to him so her fragile self esteem will remain intact.

I thought Rudy Giuliani sent all the homeless people to Rikers Island.
Rudy did this because he grew up homeless and worked his way out of the gutter.
Therefore he understands first hand that bums should be treated with antipathy. We should save all of our respect for people with more money than we have.
