I used to walk home from school and for awhile there I'd call my friend Amy (whom I had just seen at school and only lived a few blocks away) and we'd watch t.v. together. On the phone.
When I was in college in the 90's i lived in a large house with other students. we would email each other and have conversations rather than get up and walk the few yards or up or down a flight of steps. there would be days when I wouldn't see this one particular housemate but we'd email each other from yards away to chat every night.

Guilty. I even watched a movie here in CA while my BF was in CT, a few years back. Now THAT'S sick!
