Hey, Everybody, Have You Heard?

There was an Armenian Genocide by the Turkish Ottoman Empire during WWI. 1.5 million people were killed. You got that, Turkey? Get your shit together and stop denying history, you jack asses. It's lame. It's wrong. And it's not going to get you into the European Union.

Yeah, it was actually in all the papers. Pogroms were such a popular group activity back then that people just kinda blew it off-unless you were Armenian..or a Russian Jew...or an Ethiopian.

I heard this too. I work with a lady from Turkey. Why doesn't something like this get as much recognition as the Holocaust?

hard to say. perhaps because 1.5 mill is petty cash compared to 6 mill? the fact remains that it's time to recognize. you better recognize, turkey!

this kind of stuff happens in some of the African countries as well and no one does anything about it.

it's a shame that human life is so expendable.

but if they fess up they might have to (GASP!) apologise and then they might have to (GASP!) pay compensation or even (GASP!) set up strategies for healing.

and that would just be too much now wouldn't it?
