When filling out my 6th Grade Yearbook profile, I panicked when it came to make a decision on what to put for
My Favorite TV Show: ___________
I wrote, Greatest American Hero.
But I lied. It wasn't my favorite show. But there I was, tryin' to fit in, putting down what everyone else wrote. Everyone's favorite color was blue, everyone's favorite food was pizza, I mean, please.
Greatest American Hero? Lame. I remember really regretting the lie when the book came back from the printer.

There you were, suddenly on top of the world when it should've been somebody else.
believe it or not.
actually, Ripley's (insert heavy breathing here) Believe It (more heavy breathing) Or Not with Jack Palance was one of my favorite shows.
I always believed it.
Was this before or after WKRP in Cincinatti?
he was on that show? ?
Yes, he played Loni Anderson.
WKRP has nothing to do with Ripley's or The Palance. I just like to remember the Turkey Bombing Episode every chance I get.
The A-Team was the best TV show ever. And it still is.
This happened to me once whenI called into a DJ request line for the local top 40 station, the Mighty 690. I requested, oh I don't know, probably "Union of the Snake" by Duran Duran. And then they asked me what song they should retire. And I, flustered, said, "Uh uh that 'holding back the years' song". I was trying to sound cool to the creepy DJ but in doing so, I greatly maligned none other than Simply Red. And I still to this day feel bad about it.
Here's what happened to our hero.
Believe it or not, I'm walking on air, I never thought I could be this free...
I loved the theme song, good old Christopher Cross...
Hated the show- white boy with an afro just does not equate to star power for me!
