Happy Joe Piscopo--err--Columbus Day

Yes, folks, today is the 62nd Annual New York City Columbus Day Parade hosted by CNBC's Maria Bartiromo.

Who?

Oh, and 1980's SNL relic, Joe Piscopo.

Who?

Two people who epitomize what it is to be an obscure Italian American celebrity.

Join them and our fellow paisanos on Fifth Avenue at 44th Street at 11:30 am. Of course, I'm the only one out of work and able to go, no doubt, but I'll most likely be glued to the coverage on television.

Joe Piscopo reminds me of eye-talians only in that he plays Frank so very well.

Joe Piscopo is as Italian as the Olive Garden.

In Denver, we refer to Columbus Day as the annual Indian vs. Italian gang fight day. The Italians parade, the Indians protest, they yell bad things at each other, arrests are made and everyone is released the next day. Good, clean fun for the entire family.
