Mother of Four an Idiot, Promotes Ignorance

Laura Mallory, of Loganville, Ga., holds up a brochure for a summer camp for learning the art of witchcraft. Mallory was trying to convince a Gwinnett County board of education officer during an Oct. 3 hearing that Harry Potter should be banned from classrooms and school libraries. -AP

"If we don't git this here book out of our liberry then, then, we're gonna have witches and warlocks runnin' around and, and they'll be stealin' the hearts and minds of God's innocent children and, and, eatin' them and runnin around like zombies and well, all kinds of other terrible evil stuff that happened in the book that I don't know because I ain't never read Harry Potter but I know it's baaaaad!"

Sigh.

I love the way the people in the Bible Belt think. Kids are bad because of rock music, video games and Harry Potter books. The only book kids should read is the Bible.

Let's put the fun back into fundamentalist dogma!

Just yesterday 2 American scientists were given the Nobel Prize for their study of the Big Bang, yet people still live in the Dark Ages and believe in fairy tales...

The danger, in the minds of these people, is not that Harry Potter is a silly distraction from Bible study--they actually think witchcraft is REAL. They're scared that they're gonna come home one day and find Junior levitating the couch or something.

It would be adorable if they weren't allowed to vote and drive cars.

And they say kids today have no relgion. I would rather have a Wiccan in the White House than one of these boneheads.
