News to Me

Last week I went to see the preview debut of a new live current affairs show, News to Me. Hosted by my friend and Associate Producer Joanna Parson and featuring composer/lyricist Michael Roberts on piano, guests/panelists were Melody Bates, Dorian Davis, Julia Gorin, and Jamie Jackson.

It was quite entertaining. You'd be surprised how fun and frustrating a political /news based show can be. If you care about politics or the news, that is. Guests and audience members alike were getting flustered during Q&A. I know my blood was boiling on some of the panelists' opinions on the topics that were discussed. (How the hell is a gay man a Republican?) Or was it the woman behind me snapping her gum that was putting me over the edge? (snap snap snap snap snap) I'm going to be diplomatic and say that both had a huge hand in my annoyance. But neither overrided the fact that this is a show you should see. Reservations are not required. For more info, contact Kyle@GorgeousEntertainment.com.

Here are some crappy photos I took of News to Me at the Actors Playhouse.
