Have I Told You Lately How Much I Love Joan Rivers?
She's plastic, she's fantastic--God loves an honest broad who tells it like it is, and so do I. Doesn't He? If not, whatevs. She's female comedy pioneer and a fighter--simply a great comic. She's blunt and dirty and outrageously funny.
My mom and I saw Joan live at Fez a few years ago, I know her piano player, and he got us great seats right up front. At one point, woman got up in the middle of her set to go to the bathroom. Joan ragged on her as she left but the woman didn't hear her. So, while she was gone, Joan went rifling through the contents of her purse. I could see myself doing something like that.
I could also see myself doing something like this, just another one of the reasons why I love her so much.
Her daughter Melissa? Not funny. Terrible, actually. If she weren't Joan's daughter, Joan would say as much--however she did bust on the fact that she forked over a million+ on Melissa's wedding and what a waste of cash it was (failed marriage). Now that was funny.

I saw Joan on the street not to long ago and I thought a wax figure has escaped from Madame Trousseau.
But after seeing that clip, I love her dearly. Seriously, Mom.. you have competition.
people need to trust me and like the crap that I say is good.
there just might be something to this whole "forcing your opinion on others" thing.
Anne let's go see her! She's still doing gigs, I think she's a fucking riot.
She's an idol to this mouthy lady.
