Mystery de Coiff

Why on earth does it take all day for my hair to look great yet only to peak in it's amazingness as I'm brushing my teeth getting ready for bed?

It's all shiny and silky and not static-y or split-endy nor stringy, just simply gorgeous. Just in time to go to bed. With myself.

Yet it doesn't last.

Because in the morning?

And I'm back to lather, rinse, repeat. My hair's going to look awesome tomorrow night.

Goodnight.

That happens for a good reason. You don't want it looking good for the bus driver, or the guy who gives you your morning coffee.

You want it to look and feel great for your lover.

Jesus ... I just said "lover"

I'm going to bed.

That sucks, but at least you should have beautiful dreams with your fabulous shiny hair spread across your pillow.

I can totally relate to this! I can have rain-drenched droopy bangs all day long and they suddenly spring to life and look better than ever as I'm getting ready for bed. Sometimes they look just as good in the morning and I'm tempted to go to work without showering to keep the look up, but I just KNOW that they'll be greasy and stringy within five minutes of walking out the door. I feel your pain...
